PURVA MANE
Aspiring software engineer
I enjoy working with MERN and Spring Boot, and I’m always exploring new ideas. Bringing concepts to life and shaping them into something genuinely useful is the part of building I like most!
ZF Internship
Spring Boot Developer Intern
ZF India Pvt. Ltd. (ZF Friedrichshafen AG)
Project Summary
- Built a Spring Boot backend that automatically scrapes ARAI regulatory data using Selenium WebDriver (Java).
- Stored structured results in MS SQL Server with Spring Data JPA and exposed everything via clean REST APIs.
- Added a scrape history tracker, robust error handling, logging, validation, and Swagger/OpenAPI docs.
- Ensured reliability with JUnit + Mockito tests.
Impact & Learning
This project significantly improved the efficiency and accuracy of regulatory data collection by replacing manual scraping with a fully automated, API‑driven system. I gained strong hands‑on experience debugging real‑world issues, integrating multiple frameworks, and adapting quickly across Spring Boot, Selenium, and MS SQL — all within a clean, layered backend architecture.
About Me
Leadership
Growing up, I kept stepping into responsibility. Being elected Class Representative three years in a row didn’t happen by accident, it happened because people trusted me to communicate clearly, and look out for everyone. Leadership became less of a title and more of a habit: stepping forward, organising chaos, and keeping people together.
Curiosity
Curiosity has always been my compass. It pushed me into building 40+ projects across domains I knew nothing about at the start. Every project made me adapt, unlearn, reinvent, and try something sharper. Coding, hardware, automation, scraping, data, design, none of it scared me because learning fast became second nature.
Public Speaking
Public speaking is another place where I feel completely at home. I love conversations that stretch my thoughts: whether it is about space, technology, philosophy, art, or anything that makes the world feel a little bigger. Listening, questioning, and exchanging ideas is something I genuinely enjoy.
Optimism
I stay optimistic even when things get difficult. Problems don’t feel like walls; they feel like puzzles. My instinct is always to look for the opportunity and staying steady.
Why I Build
Beneath everything, every project, every conversation, every late‑night attempt to understand how something works, there is a deep respect for science and technology. They have shaped humanity more than anything else, and they will continue defining the future we are walking into. Being part of that story is the reason I build, experiment, and learn the way I do.
Selected Projects
AI Course Generator
Developed a web app that generates custom AI-based courses. Users input requirements, and the app automatically creates structured course outlines and content.
Secure Data Eraser & Verifier
Cross-platform app (Windows, Mac, Linux) using Electron/Node.js for secure, NIST-standard file deletion. Generates PDF + signed JSON proof certificates and includes a Python verifier tool.
Student Exam Score Predictor (ML)
Developed a Python regression model to predict student exam scores from 6,600+ records. Performed data preprocessing and achieved an R² score of 0.98.
National Scholarship Portal
Full-stack, multi-role portal for the scholarship lifecycle. Implemented critical business logic as a Supabase PostgreSQL Functions to enforce eligibility and secure submissions.
Quanta: Productivity System
Built an Android integration to collect real-time phone usage data. This formed the base for a flow-based productivity system that personalizes goals and schedules by analyzing user habits.
